Itinerary

Subject to change on a minute-by-minute basis

We plan on leaving Wyoming Wednesday, 4 August 2010 and heading for New Mexico. We will be there for "awhile" and from there will go somewhere (maybe Kansas?) and then eventually come back to New Mexico where we will leave The Rig and fly to Los Angeles and then to Melbourne. We are looking at being in Australia by the 15th or so of September.

Getting Ready

Well, it looks like it's really going to happen! We have sold the house (we think!) and close on the 15th-ish of August. We have already packed up, given away, sold, and/or donated everything we own (almost) and only have about two more trips out to the storage unit left to go. We have kept "the rig" and are trying to sell other vehicles - anyone want a 30 year old Toyota Tercel? Cheap?!

We are hoping to get out of Sheridan on either the 4th or 5th of August. We will do the final close on the house long distance - after all that's what fax machines are for. From Sheridan our first stop will be, where else, New Mexico. From there we're not sure but by the 20th of September or earlier we will be on our way to Australia!
